You rarely see any "pretty" Deku fan art around, well, anywhere. The Deku Princess and royal palace of the Dekus inspired me to make this. I was glad that the folks at Nintendo decided to make them a race just like Zoras and Gorons. I'm somewhat disappointed that they haven't made a comeback in The Wind Waker or Twilight Princess, but I bear no grudge.

Done with watercolours. About all of it. Dekus from The Legend of Zelda series belong to Nintendo.

I can't believe no one commented on this yet! This is wonderful. I love the frame of plants, I think it really pulls the image together.
Thanks. I was a bit worried about the frame hogging so much space, but I guess it's okay if doesn't overshadow the Dekus themselves.

No problem. Also the Dekus themselves look great. Beautiful really.
You chose some really beautiful hues of color for this piece. It's very pretty.
Thanks a lot.

Very nice! It's rare to find any art of the Deku and even rarer to find one so unique. Very good job!

Specter~ I am a man of many words.... I just choose not to use them.

Specter~ The hardest burden to bear is loneliness, because there's no one to help you carry it.
I absolutely love the Dekus; they have such an air of melancholy about them. It's a shame we've never seen much of their culture except in Majora's Mask, but I'm hoping for more of that someday.

So this picture was a delight for me to see, and it's so beautifully done!
