Hay guise. I just heard Nightwish broke up and got a new singer! Yeah, I know, I'm shocked too.
... Too soon, wasn't it? Well, enough with the stupidity. Even though I really did NOT know that they got themselves a new gal some six months ago or so, which caused much hilarity. So, this is an attempt to depict a realistic Slowpoke from the Pokémon series. My digital editing still sucks like hell thanks to GIMP being all advanced compared to the previous editing thing I used to have. Anyways, even though I had problems with every single Slowpoke, the one in the upper left corner was the worst. Also, they weren't supposed to be all naked, but they still look like they are. I was trying to give them a very short sea lion -like coat, but meh, the result is still this. Done with watercolours and tempera. Edited with the GIMP. Slowpoke belongs to Nintendo/Gamefreak. Edit: Ha ha -- thanks to me accidentally erasing the shadow, the bottom right Slowpoke's ass looks like it's floating in the air. Also, FYI: the bottom left Slowpoke is supposed to be swimming, does it even look anything like it? |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
